STING Ltd. considers initiating the “Pharmacy Software” project as one of the most important elements in our common future development. We aim at assisting our partners in reducing the overall expenditure and minimize the in-stock quantities through implementing the PharmaStar program.

PharmaStar is the first integrated information system (ERP) for pharmaceutical retail management. The program is developed by AS Systems (Application Software Systems), which is a private Bulgarian company established in 1993. The company is now a major country-wide coverage distributor of information technology solutions for pharmacy automation. AS Systems services all major distributors and over 800 pharmacies country-wide. Their product - PharmaStar grants you the ability to integrate all business processes in one common solution, upgrading and improving the service you offer to your clients.

The PharmaStar information system offers:
  • Full set of functions and reports to manage the NHIF required documentation.
  • Medicines and cosmetics OTC sales module;
  • Automated connection to the major pharmaceutical wholesalers;
  • Operations through bar-code devices and various types of cash-register devices;
  • Full set of reports, necessary to maintain the obligatory accountancy for controlled drugs sales;
  • Maintenance of more than one price for a single product, as well as a mechanism for automatic selection of the sale price;
  • Over 50 types of analyses of sales, in-stock quantities and special reports, allowing a very precise management of your activity;
  • The option to use a portfolio of over 15 000 units, including the NHIF unit portfolio;
  • The ability to make a flexible pricing when supplied, and automatic accounting of the delivery invoices;
  • An option to automate the accountancy when working with extemporal forms;
  • Specially optimized interface, to facilitate the sales through a bar-code reading device;
  • An option to work with client cards, thus stimulating your regular clients’ loyalty;
  • An option for completely automated accountancy of the consignments received, by implementation of supplier invoices and marking of the quantities processed;
  • An option for automatic display of three different package levels;
  • Management of marketing and promotion campaigns;
  • The ability to automatically generate the orders to the suppliers in two different ways:
  • -Based on the average daily sales;

    -Based on the minimum quantities;

  • A new platform, providing high efficiency of the information processes, based on MS SQL Server 2000.
